Diarmaid Keane - Red Diamond Media
Diarmaid Keane from the team which was the overall winner of the Best in Show competition is undertaking an internship with Red Diamond Media. Diarmaid has worked with Red Diamond Media on the production of two pieces for the Today with Pat Kenny radio show on RTE Radio One. Red Diamond Media are the production company behind the Show’s weekly science segment, which is presented by Leo Enright, and which runs for 13 weeks. During his stint with Red Diamond Media Diarmaid has worked on a variety of projects including the production of a video with the Computer Clubhouse.
As Diarmaid’s internship draws to a close his two team mates Shane Brennan and Shane Doyle, are lined up to start their internship with Red Diamond Media in August and September. The fourth team member, Aaron Chalke, won’t be taking Red diamond up on their offer of an internship as he recently landed a job with a media company.
Bruno Palma - Kavaleer Productions
Bruno Palma, a Graduate of the Irish School of Animation, at Ballyfermot College of Further Education, recently finished an internship with Kavaleer Productions - an animation company in The Digital Hub. During his time at Kavaleer Bruno completed some work - ‘Trolley Ladies BG’, ‘The Tough Nuts character design’ and ‘Trolley Ladies character design’ – which is available to view in his blog at http://eidosani.blogspot.com/
The internship arose out of The Digital Hub’s recent ‘Best in Show’ competition, in which Bruno won the animation category for his short animation called ‘Olinda’ and the internship with Kavaleer Productions was awarded to him.
